Our Current Committees:

  • The Advocacy Committee advances the interests of our members by:

    • Monitoring and analyzing legislative, regulatory, and policy issues affecting commercial real estate

    • Proactively responding to developments that impact ownership, management, and development

    • Using fact-based advocacy to help shape policies that strengthen and sustain the industry

  • Guided by a spirit of giving back, the Community Engagement Committee connects BOMA NB PEI with local causes and projects that strengthen our communities and make a lasting difference.

  • The EMC Committee develops and promotes BOMA NB PEI’s key events and communications, helping to engage members and strengthen the association’s presence across the industry.

    • Annual Signature Events: Commercial Real Estate Symposium & BOMA Golf Tournament

    • Marketing & Communications Initiatives: newsletters, social media, website, industry updates

    • Brand Promotion & Outreach: campaigns to elevate BOMA NB PEI’s profile

  • The Sustainability Committee promotes sustainability in the commercial real estate sector by raising awareness of the BOMA BEST 4.1 program and sharing industry best practices. The committee collaborates with industry partners and local organizations to advance sustainability efforts by: 

    • Highlighting local initiatives and sustainability programs

    • Sharing resources, tools, and success stories

    • Promoting sustainable building operations and design practices

  • The Awards Committee leads the planning and delivery of BOMA NB∙PEI’s annual local awards program, which recognizes excellence across our membership and industry. Through these efforts, the committee highlights the achievements of our local community and connects members to national recognition opportunities through BOMA Canada.
