The changing landscape of the office sector is leading to increased consideration of transforming these vacant spaces to meet the significant demand for residential units. Those in the construction industry and other stakeholders should be ready to navigate both the potential benefits and challenges this transformation may bring.
This forum will consist of a Keynote speaker, Ryan Mounsey from Urban Insights who has extensive expertise to bring to the panel discussion with representation from Urban Planning/Housing (City of Moncton), a large commercial landlord, a rep from research completed recently on the topic in NB and an immigration rep.
The panel will be followed by a facilitated discussion. Notes from the discussion, as well as a synopsis of the highlights of the keynote and panel discussions, will be prepared into a report back to the partner associations and shared with other interested parties, including local, provincial and federal governments.
