Overview

The Building Operations Team Award celebrates the success of the Team that shows a high level of expertise in scheduling preventive maintenance; improving general building operations; and ensuring maximum energy efficiency.

Complete the 2026 Building Operations Team Award Entry Form. Upon completion, applicants will receive a submission guidebook outlining requirements.

Entry Fee: $150.00 + HST (invoiced upon application completion). Entry fee must be paid to participate.


Award Details:

Eligibility

All applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • The company must be a BOMA NB/PEI member in good standing

  • Eligible entrants include operations teams, property management companies, and building owners

  • The team must be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the building(s)

  • Companies with multiple buildings may submit more than one entry; however:

    • Only one team per building is eligible

    • Each team must consist of different individuals

  • A complete submission must be received by March 20, 2026 at 5:00 PM

Judging & Evaluation

  • Judging is based on the written submission and compliance with all award requirements

  • Submissions must not exceed 3 pages (open format)

  • Entrants are encouraged to include any information they feel will assist the judges in their evaluation

  • Shortlisted entrants may be contacted by the judges to arrange a site visit, which forms part of the evaluation process

  • A select panel of judges will review all submissions; decisions are final
