JOB POSTING - Executive Director

BOMA NB & PEI is seeking to hire a full time Executive Director who will be responsible for managing and administering the Association’s policies, programs, and services. The Executive Director will work closely with the board of directors, committees, and members. This position will foster around relationship management, innovative thinking, and collaborative work.

What qualities are needed as an Executive Director?

  •  Policy & process development

  •  Administration

  •  Financial management

  •  Event planning & coordination

  •  Project Management

  •  Contract/Bylaw comprehension and management

  •  Marketing, including social media acumen

  •  Customer service

  •  Organized

  •  Board experience with not for profit or membership associations

  •  Experience in the building sector or real estate an asset

Lastly, you have proven experience working closely with a Board of Directors and committees of the Board. This includes ensuring that all meetings are organized and conducted in accordance with BOMA’s bylaws and meeting protocols. A key part of this function includes keeping the Board fully apprised of all external and internal issues that could affect the organization. Experience in the building sector would be considered an asset.
